An Enterprise of Spitäler fmi AG
About the Walk-in-Clinic
The Spitäler fmi AG has been operating the Walk-in-Clinic in the Interlaken West station building since the beginning of May 2019. The Bernese Oberland Hospitalgroup is thus reacting proactively to the increasing shortage of GPs and is thus responding to the great needs of the local population. People with health problems who do not have or cannot find a family doctor are to be given rapid and uncomplicated access to medical care. The Walk-in Clinic will also serve as the first point of contact for the steadily growing number of tourists seeking medical help.
The choice of location fell on the Interlaken West station building, which was completely renovated by BLS. Here, Spitäler fmi AG took over suitable rooms on the first floor for rent and furnished them in a practical manner. The advantage of this location is not only its very central location and the barrier-free access; if necessary, it can also be quickly relocated to the nearby Interlaken hospital.
